What is the CASA Closet?
CASA closet is a storage unit filled with donated clothing, books, and toys for our CASA families.
How can I get items for my case?
- Let us know what sizes and types of clothes you need and we'll pick them out for you.
- Meet us at the storage unit and go shopping yourself!
- Contact Barb Howard for help with pick up and shopping
How can I help the CASA Closet?
- Donate! Clothing should be in good condition with no rips, tears, broken zippers, or stains. It should be appropriate in size and style for infants to young adults. Toys, books, and puzzles should be in working order, in good condition, and have all the pieces, pages, and/or parts.
- Volunteer to help with distribution at the storage unit at Shermer and Willow in Northbrook.
- We need more storage bins with lids. The 21 gallon size works well (18 gallon is fine as well).

What about larger items (furniture, baby equipment, bikes)?
Due to space constraints in the closet, we are unable to store larger items. For larger items we created a Google group called CASA Swap Shop where we post the larger items needed or available. To be added to the CASA Swap Shop so you can be notified when items are posted, contact CASA Closet.
